Find Your Tribe!

I spent the morning at the ‘2019 Raleigh Small Business Connect‘ held on the campus of NC State in Raleigh, North Carolina, it was an amazing experience and I learned that it is important to ‘Find Your Tribe’!

Being a small business owner is immensely rewarding, but it is also extremely hard. Being a small business owner can also be a lonely experience until you have a team around you. It was inspiring listening to small businesses on the panel who shared their stories and seeing the passion that they have for what they do. It was also encouraging to listen to the struggles of the business owners, to see what they overcame to get to where they are.

The biggest take away for me was that iron does indeed sharpens iron. If you’re looking to grow your business, I encourage you to surround yourself with people who are just as motivated and just as hungry as you are! You have to get around people who are focused and who will support you.

Build your team.

Find your tribe.

It is also important that you find business partners who get where you are trying to go. Work with people who are embracing technology, the way that you are embracing it. Find service providers who are on the same trajectory as you, who get it.

You can do this, you got this.  It Is hard work, but in the end, it is always going to be worth it!
